Minor quake joits mataram

INDEPENDENT-West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) provincial capital of Mataram was shaken by a minor earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale at 8.10 pm on Saturday.

Rahman of the local Meteorological and Geophysics (BMG) office said that the epicenter of the earthquake was 28 km west of Karang Asam of Bali province at a depth of 15 km.

"People in the Mataram city felt strong tremors," he aid.
